This week's energy shifts from the internal emotional clearing of the past to a bold, electric expansion. We are approaching the Buck Moon, the Full Moon of July, named for the time when male deer begin to grow their antlers. 

 And this year, the Moon rises in Aquarius, infusing this season of growth with a frequency of radical innovation, future-vision, and unapologetic authenticity. 

 This is a cosmic message to do things in ways you never have before.

The Shedding of the Velvet:

There is a beautiful correlation in life of a stag that mirrors our spiritual journey right now. As new antlers grow, they are covered in a soft, sensitive layer called "velvet," rich with blood and nerves. This velvet protects the growth beneath, but once the antlers reach their full size, it becomes an itch, a restriction, a dead layer that must be rubbed off against the rough bark of trees. The stag must actively scrape away this soft covering to reveal the hard, strong bone beneath.

This week, under the glow of Aquarius, you are being called to shed your velvet. You have spent many Moons growing internally, learning, and healing in ways no one could see. That growth phase was tender and necessary. But now, the protection that once served you has become a barrier. The universe is inviting you to find the "rough trees" in your life, the profound conversations, the bold actions, the unconventional choices that will help you scrape away the last remnants of your old self. It may feel sensitive or even raw as you do this, but it is the only way to reveal the strength you have been growing within.

Unlike other full moons that have drown us in emotional turmoil, the Aquarian influence offers a cool, clear breeze of objectivity. It lifts you above the dense forest of daily details so you can see the landscape of your life from a higher vantage point. From here, it becomes obvious which paths are leading toward your future and which are looping back into the past. 

You may experience sudden "aha" moments while doing something completely unrelated to your problems, like while gardening, driving to the store, on your walk, or maybe brushing your teeth! This is the mind relaxing its grip, allowing the solution to rise to the surface. Aquarius rules sudden insight and lightning-bolt realizations. Trust these flashes. They are the result of your internal growth finally breaking through the surface, guided by a wisdom that sees beyond the present moment.

Instead of trying to fix everything at once, focus on one area of your life where you can use your new strength of clarity to get it done.
